Publishing House Description
Harvest House Publishers seeks to publish high-quality books and products that affirm biblical values, help people grow spiritually strong, and proclaim Jesus Christ as the answer to every human need. Harvest House publishes more than 150 new books each year and offers a strong backlist of more than 1,200 titles.
We are most interested in nonfiction that addresses a felt need in a large number of readers and in historical fiction. We are looking for authors, especially for nonfiction, with an established platform for promoting their books.
We will look at proposals for books on marriage and family, Christian living and spiritual growth, health and fitness, popular theology and apologetics, cults and comparative religions, and for historical and romantic suspense fiction.
We are not looking for: children’s books (including YA fiction), gift books, devotional books, personal testimony books, biography or memoir, or for biblical fiction, speculative fiction, or end-times fiction.
About the Editor
Nick Harrison is a senior editor for both fiction and nonfiction at Harvest House Publishers. He’s the author of several books including Magnificent Prayer and His Victorious Indwelling. Nick lives with his wife, Beverly, who also works for Harvest House, in Eugene, Oregon. They have three adult daughters and four grandchildren.
