Guild Authors Win Awards, Make Bestseller Lists

Five of the top 10 Evangelical Christian Publishers Association Fiction Bestseller authors for March have strong ties to the Christian Writers Guild.

  • DiAnn Mills, our Craftsman class mentor, is at #3 with Breach of Trust.
  • Chris Fabry, a member of our Editorial Board, places at #5 with Almost Heaven.
  • Francine Rivers, a member of our Board of Reference, has Redeeming Love at #7. (She also has Her Daughter’s Dream at #11 and Her Mother’s Hope at #18.)
  • Tom Pawlik, 2006 Operation First Novel winner, has Vanish at #8.
  • Jerry B. Jenkins, Guild owner, debuts The Brotherhood at #9.

In addition, three writers with Guild connections are finalists in the ECPAs 2011 Christian Book Awards in three categories.

  • Fabry’s Almost Heaven in the Fiction category
  • Editorial Board member Vicki Caruana (with co-authors Todd Hafer, Vicki Kuyper, and Michael Klassen) has Life Saver: The Ultimate Devotional Handbook for Teens in the Inspiration category
  • CWG mentor Sandra Byrd is nominated in the Children category for Asking for Trouble.
