CWG Authors Shine in 2011
December 7, 2011
Library Journal, which reviews approximately 7,000 books annually, named six inspirational fiction titles as among the best books of 2011. Half of those were written by authors with connections to the Christian Writers Guild.
Sandra Byrd: This long-time Guild mentor’s To Die For: A Novel of Anne Boleyn (Howard Books) was hailed as “a sympathetic fresh take (that) adds depth and dimension to an often vilified woman.”
Davis Bunn: Bunn, who will speak at our 2012 Writing for the Soul conference in February, had Lion of Babylon (Bethany House) recognized as “an intense, faith-based thriller.”
Steven James: A keynoter and instructor scheduled for our 2013 conference, had The Queen: A Patrick Bowers Thriller (Revell), cited for being “a pulse-racing, tightly woven conspiracy tale.”
