A former newspaper feature writer, photographer, reporter, columnist, and editor, Michele taught English for more than 20 years and currently is a freelance speaker, editor, and writer. She also loves to teach writing workshops. Since 1997, she has written a weekly newspaper column that draws on her experiences as a Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. Her column, God, Me & a Cup of Tea, won a second place award in the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association’s Keystone Press Awards in 2009. Michele’s two books are compilations of her columns, and her work has appeared in numerous national publications, including Guideposts, Focus on the Family Midlife and Beyond, Teachers in Focus, and The Upper Room, as well as several anthologies, including several Chicken Soup books.
