Craftsman Proficiency Exam

All students requesting enrollment in the Craftsman course must complete a proficiency exam.

To take the exam, we require:

  • A nonrefundable $50 application fee. Click here to pay this fee online.
  • A writing resume
  • The first chapter of your book
  • A 500-word essay stating why you should be admitted to the Craftsman program

    • You will be notified within two weeks of receipt whether you have demonstrated the proficiency required for the Craftsman course. Depending on the outcome, your $50 fee may be applied toward the down payment of Craftsman course.
