Your Web Domain Name Matters

Have you ever stumbled upon a Web site and had no idea what it was about? The blog name may have some special meaning to its owner, but it leaves search engines and potential readers clueless.

Maybe the site name is clever, but the content has no relation to it.

Devote some time and creativity
Before launching your blog or website, brainstorm a name that reflects you and your core message, is easy to remember, and informs visitors what they will find.

You can purchase a domain name for less than you might spend on lunch—but choosing the right one is worth investing some time.

I’ve had a couple different names for my blog, & I still can’t be 100% sure it’s the one. But aside from that, I think a blog’s description, which is so closely tied (both in proximity and meaning) to the title should also hook the reader since it (along with the title) is one of the first things the reader will see.
