I can’t count the nights I’ve come home and stared at the wall—unable to think, write, or move. But writing is my passion and a gift. I squander it when I’m inactive.

    Jennifer, this is great advice. Writers tend to isolate themselves in an effort to focus on their writing.

    At times this is necessary, but we risk becoming too isolated to effectively write for others if we don’t also indulge our interests outside of writing.

    Similar to losing our effectiveness as Christians if we only live and operate within Christian confines.

    Great reminder to us all. Thanks.
