This veteran speaker and encourager is the author of 28 books with more than three million copies in print. Here Burns My Candle was named 2010 Best Inspirational Romance by Romantic Times Book Reviews, and her 2011 novel, Mine Is the Night, was a New York Times bestseller.

Robert Elmer
Rob has over 25 years of experience as a news editor and reporter, freelance writer and advertising copywriter, assistant pastor, workshop leader and novelist. He’s written over 40 popular novels, many for younger readers.

Chris Fabry
Chris is a writer and broadcaster, the author of five adult books and several children’s titles in the Left Behind: the Kid’s series. He also writes radio scripts for Left Behind and Adventures in Odyssey.

Robin Jones Gunn
Robin is the award-winning author of 63 books, with nearly 4 million copies sold. She began writing by taking the Christian Writers Guild’s “What’s Your Story?” course from Guild founder Norm Rohrer.

Dr. Dennis E. Hensley
Dr. Dennis E. Hensley holds four degrees in communications, including a Ph.D. in English from Ball State University. He is director of the Professional Writing Major at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where he holds the rank of full professor. He and his wife Rose have two grown married children, Nathan and Jeanette, and three granddaughters and one grandson.

Dr. Vicki Hesterman
Vicki is a writer, editor, teacher, and photographer who has worked in both Christian and secular journalism for more than 25 years. She has also been a reporter, a book editor, an author, and a university journalism professor.

Dave Lambert
After many years as executive editor for fiction at Zondervan, a division of HarperCollins, and senior fiction editor for Howard Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, David is now editorial director for Somersault, a new publishing services bureau. He specializes in fiction and has edited many bestselling and prize-winning authors. Many consider him a mentor. He is also the author of ten books.

Kathy Mackel
Kathy is a screenwriter and novelist. She worked for Disney, Fox, and Showtime but invests her heart in Christian filmmaking. Kathy is the resident playwright for the Living Word Players of Dunstable, Mass.

Rodney Morris
Rod has been in the Christian publishing industry nearly a quarter century, having served in editorial positions for a major evangelical house. He is currently a senior editor at Harvest House Publishers.

Dr. William Petersen
Bill was a newspaper editor, editorial director of one magazine, founder of another, and editor and publisher of Eternity Magazine . He has also edited newsletters and been a book publisher, an acquisitions editor, and the author of 30 books and hundreds of articles.

Norm Rohrer
Norman Bechtel Rohrer, author of 32 books, hundreds of news and magazine articles, and the author of a correspondence course for writers that he wrote in 1964 and marketed until 2001, lives with his wife, Virginia Page Rohrer, in Franklin, Tenn.

Les Stobbe
Our Executive Editor began his career through a correspondence course and has been a journalist, book editor, magazine editor, author, book publisher, consultant, writing teacher, and agent.

Larry Weeden
Larry has been a magazine editor, currently serves a major evangelical publisher as a book editor, is a widely published author, and speaks frequently at writing conferences and workshops.

Dr. Jim Zabloski
Jim is currently employed at Liberty University as an adjunct professor. He has been published in books, newspapers, and magazines, and has written contemporary one- to three-act plays. Jim served 12 years for an international book publishing house as editorial director.
