Take
seven eager learners, mix in pearls
of wisdom from Jerry B. Jenkins
and Brandilyn Collins, add in helpful
assistance from Guild staffers Kerma
Murray and John Perrodin, and you've
got the makings of an unforgettable
Residency. Our amazing students
included Mary Boyle, Thelma Dowies,
Ann Fryer, Renata Jackson, Henry
McLaughlin, Roberta Messner, and
Gretchen Ricker.
Each
Craftsman had the opportunity to
spend time editing, revising, and
rewriting their novel. Plus they
learned how to do an effective elevator
pitch and the secrets of a successful
interview. The whole group enjoyed
the outstanding hospitality of the
Cliff House in Manitou Springs,
CO. The facilities and food were
fantastic.
This
was the first class to have the
opportunity to use the newly remodeled
Cathedral room at the Cliff House
for a majority of group meetings
and mentoring sessions. The western
wall of tall windows offered shimmering
mountain views.
Truly,
the spirit of friendship and encouragement
blossomed at this wonderful event.
